Full Moon Hikes
Nature after dark...

Guests will explore portions of our 46,000 acre preserve under the light of the moon. Treat your nocturnal side to a hike you won't soon forget. Our educators lead guests along winding trails, from thick forest canopy to coastal mangrove forests. Learn about our amazing local environment and the animals that call it home ~ from owls and coyotes, to bobcats and armadillos. Our moonlit hikes are for brave explorers looking for new and unique opportunities to enjoy nature. Cost is $15.00 per person plus a small service processing fee.
Please note: Trail conditions at certain times of the year are subject to be damp and/or buggy. Long pants, long sleeves, and closed-toed shoes are recommended to enjoy the nighttime experience. Bug spray will be provided. Hikes are subject to cancellation when hazardous trail conditions exist.
Sorry ~ no refunds for cancellations initiated by participants; hike date changes acceptable only if open spots exist. Refunds will be issued in full if CHEC cancels a Moonlit Hike event date.
