CEDAR POINT: Join CHEC for Lemon Bay Earth Day, hosted at Cedar Point Environmental Park on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, between 10:00am - 2:00pm!!!
This FREE family-friendly event will feature local conservation efforts, live animals, guided walks, interactive activities, native plant giveaways, food, and more.

Every featured organization has an interactive and engaging activity or game that is centered around a conservation project they are working on in 2025. Each station will include a presentation of the accomplishments of the project so far. Event participants who complete all stations will win a free native plant!

If you are interested in sponsoring our event, donating Florida native plants, donating a door prize, or supporting us as volunteers, or vendors, please fill out this form by March 29th.

PUNTA GORDA: Join us at CHEC for a fun-filled day of learning and celebrating the wonders of the Earth!🌎💚. Immerse yourself in various educational activities with animal encounters from Peace River Wildlife Center - PRWC, presentations including CHEC's new "Animal Neighbors" program, and Learning Adventures Bus from the Conservancy of Southwest Florida. The event will also feature Butterfly Sanctuary tours, native plant and bake sale, mini silent auction and more! There is something for everyone to enjoy this Earth Day. Come CHEC it out on Saturday, April 26th from 9 am to 1!

Get up close with Peace River Wildlife Center’s rescued ambassador animals and learn about their unique stories, habitats, and the importance of wildlife conservation. These engaging sessions will highlight the ways humans can help protect native species.
Learning Adventures Bus

Come experience the Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s mobile classroom, the Learning Adventures Bus (LAB)! This classroom on wheels can bring the Conservancy’s Education programs all across Southwest Florida with hands-on scientific exploration, interactive digital games and activities, and exciting sustainable giveaways!
Animal Neighbors
Debuting CHEC's newest educational program! Explore the local wildlife species and learn how to become a "good neighbor" with tips on how to peacefully and safely coexist with wildlife.
