Paid WORKSHOP - Identifying Native Plant Specimens

Join us for environmentally themed lectures and discussions by experts in their fields.  Lectures are held at the Visitors' Center.  Seating is limited, so register today!  // This workshop is presented by Greg Brezicki - teacher, Master Naturalist, trail guide leader, lover of nature and a long-time volunteer at CHEC. This will be a lecture/power point presentation/field trip. Here is a way for you to learn to identify some common native plants. First, we will see a sample of the plant and review some information about the plant. Next, we will hear some interesting stories about the plants. Then we will be going out on the trails to see if we can find those plants.
