About the event
Join us for a moonlit hike at the Charlotte Harbor Environmental Center in Punta Gorda. Â Learn about the nighttime wildlife activity and experience it first-hand. Â You never know what you'll find in the dark! Â Please note: Â Trail conditions at certain times of the year are subject to be damp and/or buggy. Long pants, long sleeves, and closed-toed shoes are recommended to enjoy the nighttime experience. Bug spray will be provided.

Guests will explore our 46,000 acre preserve under the light of the moon. Treat your nocturnal side with a hike you won't soon forget. Our educators lead guests along winding trails, from thick forest canopy, to coastal mangrove forests. Learn about our amazing local environment and the animals that call it home, from owls and coyotes, to bobcats and armadillos. Our moonlit hikes are for brave explorers, looking for new and unique opportunities to enjoy nature.
