About the event

Join us for environmentally themed lectures and discussions by experts in their fields.   Held at the Visitors' Center.  Seating is limited, so register today!  Presented by David Outerbridge- UF/IFAS Lee County Extension Director and Natural Resources Agent. “The Mangrove Trimming and Preservation Act (MTPA) of 1996 aims to protect and preserve mangrove resources valuable to our environment and economy from unregulated removal,

defoliation, and destruction. This piece of legislation places restrictions on types of mangrove trimming or removal activities. DO NOT trim mangroves without consulting with a specialist”! // Sorry, no lecture date exchanges! // Looking forward to seeing you there!
