About the event
Visitors will be introduced to the Everglades, learning about a special place in Florida home to many different plants, animals, and habitats. Learn about the historic Everglades watershed, called the Kissimmee-Lake Okeechobee-Everglades (K-O-E) watershed, and the changes the ecosystem has undergone in the last 150 years. Â Discuss threats to the Everglades, including invasive species, how these problems are being addressed, and how they can help protect the ecosystem. Â Tate Vangellow of the Everglades Foundation, presents.
