About the event

Visitors will be introduced to the Everglades, learning about a special place in Florida home to many different plants, animals, and habitats. Learn about the historic Everglades watershed, called the Kissimmee-Lake Okeechobee-Everglades (K-O-E) watershed, and the changes the ecosystem has undergone in the last 150 years.  Discuss threats to the Everglades, including invasive species, how these problems are being addressed, and how they can help protect the ecosystem.  Tate Vangellow of the Everglades Foundation, presents.
