
Earth Day 2023
PUNTA GORDA: Be sweet on the planet this Earth Day! The Charlotte Harbor Environmental Center in Punta Gorda will hold its annual Earth Day event on Saturday, April 22nd from 10 am to 2 pm. Featuring a native plant and bake sale, there will be a beautiful selection of plants to incorporate into your home landscape that will also benefit local wildlife. Not to mention, delicious baked goods and fresh lemonade. Children can enjoy crafts led by CHEC educators and live animals presented by Peace River Wildlife Center. Don’t miss taking a stroll through the brand new Butterfly Sanctuary, open to the public for the first time. There is something for everyone to enjoy at CHEC this Earth Day!
