The Charlotte County Fertilizer Ordinance was passed in March 2008, and there are new regulations for the use of fertilizers containing nitrogen and/or phosphorous on Charlotte County lawns. The workshop will provide an overview of the new Fertilizer Ordinance, plus information on determining fertilizer needs, selecting and purchasing a fertilizer, how to apply fertilizer correctly, and techniques for Florida-Friendly fertilizer use. This workshop is free to attend. Pre-registration is suggested but not required.
